well...i know that feeling.
one can get 'obsessed'.
part of the problem is that...if you visit regularly...it makes you apprehensive to skip a day or two or three...because you can feel so 'out of the loop' when you return.
...especially when you return to find 99 new posts.
it is so overwhelming that you are forced to make daily visits just to ease the task of keeping up.
i...myself...enjoy it and enjoy keeping in touch and knowing what the regulars are up to.
so its not really a chore.
but i can be very time consuming.
i am self-employed so i have more flexible time than some people may have.

I agree with you relaxzoolander, Even posts that appears to be boring etc. can have you miss very important facts and perhaps the crack you were searching for. It happened to me more than once that I missed important posts! :-|

you can allocate 10% - 25% of your time for forums.

thats easier said than done.

Hey I know what you mean, it is very addictive. A while ago I had to stop myself from coming here so often, I was reading posts and joking and not getting anything done.

But when you have experienced R/Z in action, when he is either annoyed or feeling lyrical it is very difficult to stay away and not join in.

Also I was spending far to much time doing avatars and not sleeping...

Hi,

It has been the hardest 3 days for a long time for me, but I have gotten more work done than I normally do in a week.


My wife and me have done all that boring accounting and billing. We have bought office supplies and done the spring-cleaning. We run our little family business from our home. We have a nice cosy home office with very nice office chairs.

It is nice to have the billing out of the way, if we don not bill, we don’t get paid, and without pay we would starve and live on the street.

Nice to be back though.
