Google Error
Hi all!!
I wanted to ask somethg about the Google Error when it comes up. Following is the mesg that I see when I type cache:www.mysite.com => "Google Error NOT FOUND The requested URL /index1024.asp was not found on this server.” The sites home page URL has recently been changed and '/index1024' thing has been redirected to simple .com name now. It had a PR=3, now its not even cached. What went wrong. pls throw some light. Thanks .. Alex M |

But if you redirect it to .com, won't that cause an indefinite loop?
After all, the request for the domain will cough up the index page again. It all depends on how you did the redirect..............

Thanks 4 the reply Dzine.
Did I missed somethg? The site had a url like: http://www.sitename.com/index1024.asp Now it has been changed to http://www.sitename.com and we have redirected the rest of the pages to corresponding new pages. So why : "But if you redirect it to .com, won't that cause an indefinite loop?" ?? Let know. Thanks. |
