German copyright laws.
I have a German book: "Handbuch der praktischen Pädagogik für höhere Lehranstalten" printed in 1886 in Leipiz. It is a very nice book for all interested in the subject. I am not familiar with German copyright laws, but there is nothing stopping me from publishing this on the web, right?
I got a lot of older books 17, 18th, and early 19th hundreds that I think could be of public interest. Do anyone know anything that could legally stop me from presenting these to the gerneral public trough a website? I have no plans to make money out of this. I just want to share some of my library. Most of my books are in German, and in English.
