Best Stats for an SEO (webalizer?)
Hi there, I've used webalizer in the past and thought it was 'ok' but is there any other tool out there that most SEO's prefer that give the best amount of useful detail to what we do?
thanks in advance... SeanIM |

It depends on what data and statistics you need. You could just insert your raw logfiles in a database and run the queries you need, or write your own software.

sure, but am kinda shopping for some off-the-shelf products if they exist... and the data of course that I'm most interested in is referrers, bots, and overall #s... |

In that case I will recommend AWStats http://awstats.sourceforge.net/ |

Awstats is what I use. I like it quite a bit.
ClickTracks is also good. They have a free demo, but it is kind of expensive, but provides great analytics. |

Re:
Most people use webalizer. If you want to crunch log files manually, use webtrends!!
