Wordpress SEO

I've got a question or two around Wordpress. I have a site that is packed full of affiliate links - posts and static pages have links in. My problem is that similar sites have their content index and appear in the SERPS within a day...mine appear in the cache but in many cases don't show in the SERPs, even when I use an exact match search.

Would having identical hotlinked images in each post (supplied by AffiliateWindow) mark me up as duplicate content? Also, should I use jscript to create my links?
