It's obviously a top quality service when you have to resort to spam to find clients.
You might want to research the "accuracy" of Googles backlinks display before making offers of this sort... it really makes you look silly!

Of course - if you took a look at the keywords my site was targetting you'll have found it's already in the top 10 for all of them, so it's not really much of a challenge for you

You're in good company - I read a post from Matt Cutts' blog that said Google still receives mail from spammers telling them they're not in the top 10 of the search engines and they can help them boost their rankings - how spammy (and obviously stupid) is that!! I'm sure G misses the revenue! No wonder Larry and Serge are broke.

I had an experienced SEO Telemarketer argue with me a few months back that my website isn't very exposed because it doesn't use Meta Tags (please note my stance on the value of Meta Tags to guage whether they won the argument)...

It didn't matter that my ranks were superb; all that mattered was I wasn't using Meta Tags.

I've had a company recently contact a friend of mine to say they can get him to number 1 of sponsered links at all times. When he reffered them through to me because he doesn't even have a website and thought i might like a laugh the girl was determined in telling me that their company worked "with Google" and that my friend nor them would be charged any click through rate.

After an hours arguing she then put me through to her manager who tried to reinforce her comments. When i told him they were obviousley working out an average amount it would cost them and then whacking a big profit margin on top the line went dead - bad connection maybe??

This is a really funny thread, it made me laugh and I'm happy about that .

Honestly speaking, I think people doing that are unconscious. Why? Because Internet is a bit different than real world ( and even there is risky to do something like this, because you get caught anyway, maybe just later than here ). Internet has become what it is because of the high speed information circulates and the promptitude people get in touch.

Just like it happened with ClickyB... an email to the wrong person and thousands others find out.
