View Source
My view source is disabled. You know, where you go to a webpage, see something cool or shady and want to look at the html. Well, I can't do that and on top of that when I go to save a picture, it only wants to save it in BMP format. This problem comes and goes.
Is this the result of visiting a webpage that has disabled my view source capabilities? If so, how do I counter act this? AND, what gives a person a right to alter my computer? Thanks Steve-o |

clear your cache. i had this problem a few months ago, and someone told me about this little trick. i guess if your temporary files gets too large or something, view source no longer works. (no idea why).

Thanks. That makes sense.
I tried to clear my cache but sadly enough I don't know how. I went to internet options thinking that was it but it turned out to be the clear history button. (i'm feeling a little stupid) Could you tell me how to clear my cache? |

you are on the right track. it is in internet options. (above clear history) (look for temporary internet files and hit the delete buttons)

Worked like a charm. I was always suspicious that some bonehead had it disabled automatically when I logged on to their site. Guess I was wrong. It still wants to save in BMP with no other options but maybe that will go away when I restart my computer.
Thanks Again. |
