Even when Google will crawl your site with a new title, it may take some time to reflect that in SERP's.

And regarding your site, if on a particular day your site is not crawled, do you think Google does'nt crawls other sites too? Positions keep on changing regularly as some site comes up and the other goes down. things dont revolve around a particular persons site only.

If you make changes in your site(s) that wont be displayed in SERP"S untill your site gets cached ( even then it takes some time to display the changes).. If you want to see the changes that you made in your site .. check in your browser window ;) Lol..

and regarding crawling ... get links for your site from the sites that are regularly crawled you will be helpfull

Some sites are crawled everyday, some are not. Google crawls the whole web grabbing info constantly. If its not eating your site then it is somewhere else. Sure the bot seems to slow down at times, maybe dumping it cache or doing another task.

The bots are interesting the way they work.

All in all the more links you get and the more (real) page rank you have and the more fresh content you get the more often you will be crawled.
