Reports on how people use your site?

    Hi,

A client is asking for some information that Googling hasn't found for me. This is from her email to me.

There was a recent report that was spotted (we can't remember source or name) but it published valuable info on SEO such as the fact that X% of people only click on first ten links etc. Do you have access to any reports or info that we can have/ read?

    Thanks for any help

Try Google Analytics; that will give you the information you desire.
It may not include exactly what she asked for (but without the source/name you're very unlikely to get it)!

I think they are after more of a overview on all websites, not their own. Thanks for the reply though.

Even I think that Google analytics would be helpful in such case.

Here is an old article from 2006 but I think that it sort of answers your question:

    http://www.seoresearcher.com/distribution-of-clicks-on-googles-serps-and-eye-tracking-analysis.htm

I only did a short google search to find it, I'm sure that there must be more up to date info from userbility companies and such like.
