Ranking software including number of results - anyone know any?

First time post here, and a bit of a strange request - hope someone can help!

I need to assess the number of results in Google for a large range of keywords and was hoping there would be some ranking software which also extracted this data (as opposed to the position of a site for a given set of terms). However, I can't find any despite this (seemingly) being a fairly simple process.

So, my question is does anyone know any?

Do a search in Google for "Google Adwords."

When you get to the Adwords page click onto the "Get Keyword Ideas" link and use the tool.

It will let you know how many times a keyword is searched and give suggestions too.
