Public Apology for My Bad Behavior

Hey SEOers,

I was recently caught red-handed doing something very bad to my link partners.

I used the robots.txt file and meta tags on a page where I listed link partners to prevent search engine spiders from seeing that page, thus reducing the benefits of the reciprocal link for those linking to me and selfishly building one-way links to my site.

I know it was wrong. I was a greedy a--hole and I'm sorry. I have replaced all the links on seo-friendly pages in a newly built directory on the site - www.avatarfinancial.com/resources-directory.php.

Hopefully, Google will spider soon and the benefit will be much greater than from a long page of unrelated outbound links.

Actually I work with my mom and she was shaking her finger at me yesterday afternoon.

I would really like it if people followed up and noted some of their own indisgressions.

I had a lot of people angry at me (and rightfully so) over at http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/thread594.html and I wanted to let them know that not only was I sorry, but that I would also be making the link exchange worth their while by adding in this type of format (which I believe provides the best link for passing PR and relevance).
