One way link service from India? Is it scam?

I have received many emails offering one way link service from India. I used one way link service from <snip> in India. I prepaid half of the total payment ($450) for 100 one way links. They promised they would offer the one way link from theme based quality sites, no link farm. But the links are all from junk sites or link farms which is rather harmful to our link popularity.

I asked the refund but they refused and gave me other links from link farm.

They seemed to be professional and honest at first. Don't be ripped off from this company. They are just bunch of cheaters.

Is there any decent one way link service company?

No, and what Nigeria is for wealthy princes, India is for western SEO.

I think you expectations are unrealistic. There are plenty of firms doing one-way linking in India. Most use the same strategies. You get PR2 - PR3 links from pages filled with links.

Did you honestly think you can get 100 high quality links for $4.50 each? Check out the prices various text link brokers charge. One PR5 link from a related site can cost as much as $300 - $500 a month.

Are there honest companies doing one way linking? Sure there are and this company probably believes they are honest too. Believe it or not those 100 links might actually help over time if you are in non competitive niche. Links can't hurt, they can only help or do nothing.

If you aren't going to build your own links and want to outsource it, conducting due diligence before investing is your best move.

Smile Sorry to hear about your situation

One approach I have been taking is to never do SEO projects with a company outside my region. I believe that in order for a search engine specialist to do a good work, he or she must have some sort of general knowledge about the region you reside into and know your products or services.

To answer your questions directly, there are many ways to build 1 way text links. One important point you need to know before paying anyone. It is better for your 1 way text links to originate from related topics of your website to get quality rankings. So, if you're paying someone, make sure you highlight this point.

Basically it is your own fault. You hired a company with closed eyes and with little market knowledge. You must understand, quality SEO is not that cheap whether you outsource it or not. The only advantage you can get through outsourcing is 'cheaper' rates. Every project has some fixed cost associated with it and some variable cost like living cost, labor rates and market value of the seo firm. Fixed cost is the bare minimum amount which you have to pay regardless of the country you outsource, to meet the quality standards and objectives laid down in the project. You can't negotiate on fixed cost. The moment you decide to get the job done below the fixed cost, you start compromising on quality and are prone to being victimized.
