No spammy links for three years and got a warning!

Haven't done anything but traditional link building for THREE YEARS and have put very little effort in that. Google sends me a notice that I'm trying to manipulate the rankings. I did have one spammy site wide link on a client's site I forgot all about but come on. This is just ridiculous.

Honestly, I can't stand these guys any more. Why didn't the warning come out with the first Penguin update or the second one? They really need to go back to devaluing links. I have lost all faith in Google.

Apparently it's not something you automatically need to worry about.. unless your rankings drop and then you do.. it was quite a poor statement indeed.

The problem is that google thinks that it is always right...I see many sites getting on top with just spam blog comments. How does that compare to beating spam ????

The've got the link weight algo all wrong.They know it too but hate to admit it. These guys are too big to apologize for such a fiasco. Ever wondered why matt cutts hasn't appeared / released any video after the penguin update ?????

I think google engineers are dumb or/and google is just going suicidal.
