I am in very tension.

What is over optimization?
My website was well rank in Google with many competitive keywords. But now I may not find my website in maximum keywords. I know that I have to wait for some times and I should closely watch our competitors, I have to check their back links I have done all the things from 10 days. But still no ranking in Google for this specific reason I may not sit in this forum properly please suggest me what I have to do I am in very tension.

On a bit serious note, how old was your website and was it ranking consistently since a long time or not?

BTW, how do you define over optimization? There's no such concept as over optimization. Either a site is un-optimized or optimized or somewhere in between it. Beyond a well optimized site, you can only have the crappy ones using illegal methods or black hat in short or using their keywords at every place possible.

I wont give them a name such as an "over optimized site".

.....Maybe you were watching your competitors and their backlinks for a bit too long while they were building links and finally beat ur site in Google.

Instead of wasting your time watching competitor's sites, invest that time in developing good content and links for your site.

more than 5 years and ranking is consistently from 2 years.
So what I have to do please suggest.

Our link building is on going process one link builder is dedicated work on that.......
I agree that my copetitors were building links and finally beat my site in Google. But my website in not in SERPs from many keywords.......

May be its just the case of your competitors holding an edge over you as pro_seo suggested!


I wont suggest anything yet about the Google penalty as that option always comes at the last in my suggestion list.

Apart from internal changes,

1) Has your link builder accidentally linked to some shady neighborhoods thereby escalating your risk profile ?

If yes, eliminate that on priority basis !

2) Have you been indulging in excessive reciprocal exchanges with all and sundry ( read, low trust domains ) ?

It's all about building domain trust and keeping your risk profile low in the eyes of search engines

I am taking about my corporate main website and I had created another corporate website but I am not working properly for this website but that is in SERPs in many keywords but my main website not in SERPs, Just because I am in very tension common my brothers suggest me all circumstances which may be reason of that due to this specific cause I may not sleep at night..........

Just by listening to a problem, no one can give you the accurate solution. Everyone can give you the most probable reason and everyone can only assume that "this might have happened due to this" where this could be anything out of the things which Visio has mentioned in his thread or perhaps may be something else. You are in the best position yourself to judge what might be the reason.

And instead of loosing sleep and going haywire with the situation, calm down and rework your strategy. Try to find out if any of the above mentioned conditions are true and if not, it may be something which will settle down with time.

Even if you have lost your rankings, it will obviously take some time to come back. And with such tension and hastiness you have occupied yourself in, i dont think your patience will last till your site comes up again.

I agree with Jalaj that no one can give me the accurate solution. Some time we are in the best position our self to judge what might be the reason. but what is it how can i find out the problem what rework start for this.......
