    Help with attributes anybody


    Hi Gang

    I have been fixing the html on my site, but i ran into a glich. I have only 3 errors left i just cannot fix. can anyone give me the solution to these.

    Line 18 column 48: there is no attribute "BACKGROUND".
    <td vAlign="top" width="729"background="comptile3591.gif">

    Error Line 78 column 136: there is no attribute "BORDERCOLOR"....rder-collapse: collapse" bordercolor="#FFFFFF">

    Line 150 column 81: there is no attribute "HEIGHT".
    ...llspacing="0" cellpadding="0" height="263">

    Hi mab


    I tried css and it still is showing error. Im not sure why. I changed it to css and it also distorted my .gif.

    Do i need to add this to my style sheet and then add a style to the image i need to put in is this correct.

    Try making a class or an id for the <td>. Toy around with the background-repeat attribute to get the image to display correctly.

    Something like :
    Code:
    #td.someclass {
    background-image: some image;
    background-repeat:norepeat;}
    
    or
    
    .someclass {
    background-image: some image;
    background-repeat:norepeat;}
    Then just do something like:
    Code:
    td vAlign="top" width="729" id="someclass"
    
    or
    
    td vAlign="top" width="729" class="someclass"
