    Google Webmaster Tools

If I remove my site from google's webmaster tools will it be removed from google's index as well? If not would it effect its ranking?

I wondered about this as well. I have read the NO reply above. And then I recollected that before I added our site to the Google webmaster tool late in 2013, we were appearing in the search engine results, which only means the site is getting indexed by Google. That's pretty much understandable. On one hand, it is very much undeniable how our traffic significantly increased after I have submitted the site to the tool. It's not like it happened immediately. It took time - months to a year. It was a bit slow but the direction was nowhere but up.

    Correlation is not causation.
I changed my breakfast cereal one day last year. Guess what? The ranking of one of my sites went down the next day.
