Good sites for selling a domain name

I'm not really in the business of buying and selling domains but one of our clients wants to sell up their domain name. Any pointers as to popular sites and services for doing this?

    Cheers.

You really need to expand on what value they are looking for from a selling price?

The domain name only? (as in a KID)

    The domain name + PageRank?

A complete website based on editorial content (not canned commercial offerings) + the previous?

    Others?

Example: JBacchi sold her domain on flippa for $20,000. That was HealthPages.org | Anatomy, Surgery, Pregnancy, Nutrition, Fitness - with a massive volume of HMO-based content all written by her over the years.

Example: I would buy a domain with a natural link profile at 5 times the PageRank market value e.g. a PR4 commonly max's out at $250 so $1250 for a completely natural profile.

Example: with a KID (Keyword-in-Domain) - you are best to advertise that on godaddy.com with add a reserve as their market share is much larger than anyone else.

There are lots of other places but the specific of the customer's offering must be known.

    Fair comments.

This isn't a big sale. It's an niche fashion ecommerce site that ranks well in Australia but has little turnover. Someone could turn it into a better ecommerce site but recent market changes mean that it would probably perform better as a blog with advertising.

We are not talking big bucks here - few hundred visitors per month - very niche.

So I'm just looking for the place which has the biggest market reach ...

Flippa is probably the most popular but it also has the highest commissions.
