Domain Name redirect not registered within google

Been a lurker reading all the valuable comments and help for some time, never really had a valid question until now, hence 1st post.

I registered a Domain Name specific to a popular product on my website to make it easier for people coming to the site for that specific product to find, rather than going to the homepage, and having to navigate through the site to find it. I also thought it would be more attractive in my press advert to have a specific domain name for that product. Not sure if I can put the domain name down here so to make it clearer...

If I was a shop selling cans of fizzy drink, with the domain name "fizzydrink".com but my most popular drink was "coke" and I advertised specifically for people to by "coke" on my site, I would have registered the domain name "coke".com. Therefore people type in "coke".com and go straight to the coke section on my site.

That works fine, with the redirect done correctly, but my problem lies when people rather than typing "coke".com into the address bar, they search for it in goggle. It simply does not come up, so I have people calling me unable to access my site. It is only because rather than using the address bar, a lot of internet users use googles search still whilst using the domain name, so they actually search for www."coke".com

To cut a long story short, goggle does not display the site, and people cant find it.

Hope that all makes sense, fyi I am not in the fizzy pop trade.

Any suggestions??
