Does Copyscape check supp index?
This is probably a dumb question, but does www copyscape.com check the supplemental index for duplicate content or does it just use the main index?

As far as I know, only Google makes a distinction between supplemental and regular pages. Of course they show on the serps whether a result is supplemental or not.
So I guess it depends on how thoroughly copyscape is "scraping" those serps eh I presume you have tested this -to some extent - already.... |

It matters not. The API search command "IS GOOGLE" merely looks for references or partial references to the url you provide.
It will show an index page, supplemental, cache, etc. The only limitation the API has [as far as I can tell] it cannot sample each datacenter [only the public one]. |
