Different description

Different description
Hi All,

2 weeks back i added new meta description to my website. after adding the description google bot has crawled my site twice. But in Google search for my site the description has not changed, it shows the old description itself. Why SO?

I took one keyword of the site for Google search, I have used the keyword in title and meta keywords but not in description. do u think that is the reason why my site didn't show up in Google search?

I think it will take a bit of time to reflect that in SERP's.

Nothing will happen if you use that keyword or any other for that matter in your meta description, and especially forget giving so much importance to the meta keyword tag at least when google hardly cares about it.

Please let us know your site URL

& I think your site is not catched still after you have made changes to it

Check your site catch date & then deside that is it showing that date after which u have made changes?

Changes were made...April end.

Google has cashed it on 8th May.

I dont think thats a problem, it will start reflecting soon if i am correct.

BTW, a page is "cached", not "cashed" or "catched" as it has been said on this thread!
