I didn't know him, and am not a member at those other forums, but he seems to have been a very knowledgeable individual.

Just from reading the thread you cited at digital point, I can see he was willing to back up his statements, even when harshly being called into question by others. That's a page we can all take out of his book. Learn what you're doing, know what works, and stand by it. Don't be bullied into thinking like the majority just to avoid a heated discussion.

RIP Dan. RIP.

Neither did I know him personally but going through his threads at DP and SP, it seems that he was a very talented and enthusiastic individual.

Sorry to hear about his sad demise. Saw that he was suffering from Pneumonia, Flu [possibly H1N1] and acute dehydration. Very sad indeed

Yea i did not know him but it seems that he has sent a shock wave around the web community.

My thoughts are with his family for their loss of Dan and his Mother a few months ago.
