ClickyB turns 100..

What is there to say about this member? Since joining Seochat I would have to say Clive is the most dedicated member to the forum. He constantly spends great deal of time and effort into helping keep this forum a functioning, high quality learning environment.

Hours of his life are spent cleaning out the SPAM, moving threads, explaining misconceptions, solving problems and just being an all round nice guy.

As a moderator he is very fair and polite. As a member he is extremely helpful and generous with this advice.

Thank you ClickyB you are an inspiration and have helped so many people have a greater chance of achieving their goals and dreams…

Without people like yourself who are willing to take on the moderatos job and remain dedicated to it this forum would be just another low quality rubbish website full of SEO wannabees giving bad advice to the unsuspecting..

You are a good moderator ClickyB. There's lots of gumph posted on here and I'm sure it needs a reasonable amount of attention. All these newbies are trying to drop in their dodgy forum links thinking they are going to get a big ranking boost from it, and we all know the truth about that .

Hey I sure hope this site never shuts down I would miss it and everyone in it. It's great to be a part of the community.

Sorry to have kept you waiting... I almost missed this thread to be honest Have been a little ill for the last 3 weeks so my time has been limited, and I've also been busy with some new (local Gov't) websites and had a backlist of "nuisance posters" to clear up here!

Sometimes I'm so busy cleaning up and moderating that I have little time to contribute and keep up with the news... It's my only regret in terms of the moderator position and - although it's quite a big one - I must admit I do enjoy keeping the place clean and tidy

I really am very flattered by all the kind remarks. I don't consider myself any sort of SEO expert; although I have learned a whole lot from the real experts here and from a good few years of testing, experimenting, managing and marketing sites for customers in a fairly diverse range of industries/markets.
Most of my own "money making" sites are adult (and therefore kept private from the membership here) and I was quite embarrassed when Visio asked for my "company website" recently (to link to) because I haven't done a stroke of work on it since I first built it (about 7 years ago when I decided to do more than just adult stuff), so - not only is the site naff, amateurish and outdated, the optimisation is appalling (lol) and I haven't done a stroke of work to build links to it etc

Fortunately I have fared far better for my customers websites, many of them are making a fortune from my efforts and I still "own" some awesome #1 adult serps (and thousands of top 10 rankings etc).

As for the RP, I feel a bit of a fraud to be honest... I think I got around half of them for being funny and the other half for being pedantic (ie: spelling out the answers to avoid any confusion), which sometimes gets mistaken for "patience and helpfulness"

Anyway... Sincere thanks to all of you guys for the friendship, support and fun... long may it continue

Ps. I still believe you have to be making multi-millions off your adult rankings... that is one HUGELY profitable industry.
