Mine was playing Tribal Wars online when work was quite, it started off as 10 mins here and there throughout the day, that soon turned in to half an hour every hour, which turned into looking all day every day from when I woke up to when I went to sleep, to make sure nobody was attacking my villages. That game is soooo addictive, stay away!

Mine was back in 2000. There was this Pay Per Click search engine (the first one in fact) called GoTo.com. I was one of there early customers. Before they went public, they offered stock options to all of their early customers. I declined thinking search is free, why would anyone pay to be listed?
That company became Overture.com and then in turn became what is known today as YAHOO MARKETING! Wonder what my 1,000 shares would have been worth by now?

My biggest mistake was not getting in the game earlier. The people who bought the good domain names in mid to late 90s are now sipping their mai tais in the bahamas.

My biggest mistake was not digging deeper to figure out how to get in on buying some stock when Google had its IPO. I wasn't working *here* then, but I was in the tech business, and in a position to know what that stock was likely to do.

My biggest mistake is constantly expecting that major corporations will post basic helpful information on their site where it can be found.
I have lost days of my life to this. ****ers owe me bigtime.
