Wow it sure gets quite around here when Google is not updating!

Hopefully these new forums will get indexed in the upcoming update and we'll have some permanent activity!!

Although I try and keep my work and politics apart, this is the chat & gossip forums .. So I'm going to ask .. How do you guys feel about the whole Iraq thing? Are you for or against removing Saddam?

Im opposed to this, if the people of Iraq wanted to have a different government, then they would have established one. The United States is turning into a global bully. If anyone is interested, I just wrote a rough draft for my AP US History class on the first Persian Gulf War. I'm off to do some reading -- I have to be honest and say that history is one of my biggest flaws, probably because I spend all of my time looking forward and not back, so I guess I should read at least a little into this stuff!

Well deep subject guys and being an American I can say there is a whole lot more to this stuff then any of us know. My view is he needs to go, but for a lot of reasons. His people don't rise up due to fear, anyone who has not only has been killed but also had their whole families murdered. He is a very dangerous man...... with that said, I can say that it also has to do with oil, not Saddam's oil but the fact that he can explode almost all of the oil fields in the middle east with the weapons he possess. Put that along with the uprisings in Venezuela and the whole world economy could collapse. Face it folks if the US economy collapses most of the free world will follow. Should we go to war? I wish not. I never understood why they send 100,000 troupes to do the job a few good assassins couldn't handle. I can say I went to Grenada a year ago where the US freed that country from a dictator about 10(?) years previous. And they love America. It is now a prosperous democracy. All the locals would stop us and thank us for what we did. So bully? sometimes it seems this way but if it wasn't for the US in WWII France would be speaking German today! But hey what do I know. I'm nestled up in the mountains on large acreage and believe it or not I could make it fine without my computer !!!!! Oh god did I just say that????? Okay enough of this stuff it could end up really heated and I kinda like you guys Susan

History isnt one of my strongpoints either. I just work my *** of in there. Oh if you read that paper, you will see that writing essays isnt a strength of mine either. Hmmm perhaps i should fortify that with some keywords. I wonder if my teacher would appreciate it?

Well I'm not to much into history and politics is not a strong point for me either. I will say I somewhat watched a news program last night that was talking to a woman from iraq, I never got the whole message of what she was saying, but she wants US to go to war with Iraq.

My opinion is they should, I almost want to say the people there can't govern themselves ,but I think it is more of everyone being affraid of a tyrant. I'll leave the rest of my opinions to myself for now.
