Strange SERPs!!! Showing up when Results Set to 10 but not when set to 100.

Hi. I'm wondering has anybody come across this before. I can't figure it out. I have a website that shows up 2nd in google search results when I have my 'number of results shown' set at 10. However, when I change this to show 100 my website isn't showing at all in the top 100!

I have a few different sites all hosted on the same server and I've tested the other sites to see it's the same with them but they all seem to be fine? So I don't think it's a hosting problem.

Anyone have any ideas why this might be happening?

Any help much appreciated.

It is possible one of your page is listed in top 10
and also you have some other pages are not listed in top 100

Some times will get different results from num=10, num=50 and num=100 or start=100,200,300.....,900

This seems to happen quite frequently, no idea why though. Whenever I switch to 100 at least a few of the results will change for just about any search term.

Yeah.....i'll most probably go with this one that it might be a temporary glitch. Usually we have a better rank when we switch from a 100 listing to 10 listing display, at least that is what i have experienced but never heard anything like that.

If u regularly check your SERPs then just keep database of it.

Now look at that , if your site is coming within top 10 results for some KWs then just set Num=10 for those KWs & for which KWs ,your site is coming after 10 then set Num=100 & so on...
