Also, basically all of those millions of backlinks are one-way because of Wiki's use of the no-follow. I hate it, but give them credit. They sure are dominating most important keywords.

Wiki and some of the other big sites could be what kills google search. People will learn, instead of searching, just go to wiki. If you need medical information just go to WebMD.... etc.
If you are counting on search traffic in your ten year plan then you might be disappointed. Go to google trends and see how almost every one or two word query has a declining search volume.

Wiki will not dominate all sectors... at least for now... if, like us, you are selling products or services online. Watch out if Wiki starts competing in ecommerce...

I agree with EGOL that Wiki is encyclopedia with infinite amount of information, when you search for a specific term. Google give more priority to Wiki pages... Because the information on wiki is more relevant as predefined in Google database.
