I have a page that's consistancly on the third page of Googles search results.
Sometimes this identical page shows up on the 1st. page, but is also on the third page as well at the same time.
Any idea why Google does that?

Does google do this? Listing the same page twice?
it might be interpreting some anchor links. other than that its a pretty much one-off case.
but then it is good for you. you get best of both pages.
Nothing strange!! It is very common. Your page can exist at many places in google
Clear your cache? It wont be the exact same URL but it may have the same meta data and title. can you provide search term? and website?Originally Posted by lklein
