Lightbulb Why is it that Alltheweb never really taken off!!

It was on a roll just before Google had taken off...

suddenly Google surpassed all

The images search was on the verge of taking off - then suddenly Google surpassed...

It seems that this great SEARCH ENGINE has never been allowed to REALLY reach it's full potential!

WHY ??

Not exactly sure why but its now not even top 4. We got Google, Yahoo (Inktomi, AOL) and MSN. Teoma will be number 4 (ask, ask jeeves,etc.).

Why? its not all about quality of the search.

Fast has a great index, but still Google has won (almost) all of the major portal contracts. It is not because Google is better, but because they are better business persons.
