When do the REST of the search engines update?
Just wondering when the other search engines update their database, other than Google. I ask because Scooter from Altavista has been coming to our site everyday and so far has indexed more pages than FreshBot and DeepCrawl combined.

I have this question too. How long does it take AV to update their index? Is something known here?

Well, I don't know what the normal process is, but you can spend the cash for paid inclusion and get updated every 48 hours...it's worth the money to me.

I've been manually submitting one of my clients on AVs site for six months, and they finally showed up on AVs site last week. Patience is finally rewarded.

Six months? O dear.
The paid inclusion is only per page. And really, for bloggitt.de They've only indexed it once - they didn't manage an update - more than two weeks now. :-( I'm thinking of asking my money back. Scooter was there though. Just like Slurp and fast. |

I found this link that might be useful and give you an idea how often they are supposed to update.
