Overture vs Wordtracker

Hi all,

After reading something on Wordtracker i did look for the same
sort of word checking website's.

http://inventory.overture.com/d/sea...ory/suggestion/

http://www.wordtracker.com

Overture is giving simple results...how many times a word was searched.
Wordtracker is giving suggestions...which word to use with less competition !!

It's nice to compare those features..

regards, hans

Shame that google does not have an option like that...or am i wrong

Hans, Google will suggest terms after you have submitted your terms. In effect, you can get suggestions for similar keywords to those you have already selected.

Beware of Overture. The results are "simple" as you say. Plurals and misspellings are omitted.

Google does allow you to use their keyword suggestion tool once you have an AdWords account.

Using only one of these tools is uneffective - you need to use both simultaneously if you want maximal results.

Both of these are better than the google keyword suggestion too l in my opinion.

You do not need an AdWords account with Google to use their keyword tool

Just go to:
https://adwords.google.com/select/m...=KeywordSandbox

Happy to contribute!

however this google url does not give you information for the amount o searches for each search phrase. the overture search phrase tool gives all searches and does not filter out searches done by software for checking rankings. Wordtracker claims to ilter out the results and i tend to belive them.

We know, Darrin just said that you should use all the tools to develop your keyword campaign. He even said that google has the worst tool.

But it is important to see what the different tools report.

I try to be very diplomatic in the words I use!!
