New To Altavista Submissions
You now MUST Have a Robots.txt file to submit to altavista using express submission - This is definetly new starting sometime after February.
They wouldn't except a new url of mine telling me that my robots.txt was redirecting...... Thanks to SpiralCris - I was able to figure this out....
She suggested that altavista was calling my robots.txt file and since I didnt have one it was redirecting to a 404 -
added a robots.txt file and whammy - bye,bye error......
