Microsoft-WebDAV-MiniRedir

Any idea what Microsoft-WebDAV-MiniRedir/5.* i? - it just started showing up in my server logs as some sort og robot/browser

I've found this stinking up my logs as well at a furious pace. Apparently it's another Microsoft 'feature' that is used when searching for 'My Network Places' (I just found it, so I'm just researching it now, I'm probably not exactly right about this).

I've blocked the UA through mod_security and I'm logging the IPs to see if the same IP blocks come up often as a new UA. For now, it looks like an unfortunate side effect of the use of windoze, although I find it hard to believe that every scan for a network place comes through my server and the rate seems far too high to be any individual user.
