Kanoodle

Someone I was talking to that knows alittle about seo was talking to me about kanoodle.... He says he does some advertising with them.....

I never really looked at it before - but just took a quick look and did a search....

Seems to work pretty good - maybe even a nice engine.... Does anyone use it for search results?

What's everyones take on Kanoodle?

I think its better if you are overseas -- results wise anyway. Can't say that I ever received any significant traffic from them. Could be the target market doesn't use the engine either.

They are a ppc search engine, unless things have changed.

If you go to their site and search; they pull their results from google - unless this has changed.

That is weird. He stumbled on to a good thing apparently. Can't say that they are great for real estate customers, though.

Had bad experience with them. It was giving us lot of robot type traffic without any ROI. The clicks we received were quite high as compared to overture for the same terms. We have stopped advertising with them and will not be doing so in the near future.

If the ROI is good, then I can't say anything bad against them.....It all depends on the ROI.

I would like to know who partners with them as I feel most are on the other side of the ocean

and really not much use for me in the US.

I've used Kanoodle for years. They are the equivalent of FindWhat. The biggest problem I have had with Kanoodle is some serious click fraud. I don't think they have nearly as many fail safes as other PPC companies.

P.S. These are some of Kanoodle's partners.

Affiliate distribution agreements with Metacrawler.com, Search.com, Dogpile.com and WebCrawler.com

They have also announced a partnership with USA Today.

Click fraud

How are they measuring the ROI - I would question it! never heard anything good about them!

They have been around in one form or another for about 7 years. Pay per click has been their mantra.

I invested $1,000 of a client's money to get some traffic and hopefully conversions. I used major keywords and was able to purchase each for .05 a click. After exhausting our budget, I did not get a single coversion with more than 38 keyword phrases.

Using my traffic management program to follow the click throughs most of the clicks were coming from garbage affiliate sites although they seemed to be from distinct IPs.

So the straight answer is.....

IT DIDN'T WORK FOR ME....ROI WAS ZERO!
