Is there any seo problem to host mulitple site in one account?

Hi
Is there any seo problem to host mulitple site in one account? I have several sites . All in one account. and all having same ip.

To get the best result is it essentionital to have sites on different IP as I will cross link my sites

Essential? No, but if you're crosslinking heavily, at some point it could take away some of the value of the links. Gets worse if you have chunks of copied or highly similar text.

Now, if you're a real blackhat seo, and if you risk getting one of your sites de-indexed, having a cross-linking network on one server is definitely a nono.

But I'm sure there's nothing wrong with people having -say- a site about [car rental] one about [parking spots in central London] and one about [insurances] on one IP, all happily interlinking because they are related in a way.

In short, it depends on how far (and how dark) you're going with that...

Your sites should be fine with no worries like that, we don't check IP addresses when we are indexing.
Well that relates to my search engine and I can't see any evidence that others are any different.
We don't use links to score a sites popularity, we use a content related algo that scores sites by the content of the pages found as we index so we are a little different like that.
We use a word meaning and word relationship algo that tries to work out how good a sites content is and if it's accurate.
Links are only a very small factor in a sites scores for us.

Having too many sites on 1 ip will not give you great SERP, no matter what SEs you look at.

Smile

You can have all your sites on one server, as long as you never reciprocal linking them heavily.

If you are running a business web site
and if you wanna grow your business in the long run
and if you expect lot of organic SE traffic
and if you have more than one web site for the same profit earning commercial purposes,

Then you better not Host your sites under same account.

Because Goviphosting is a host, so he/she wants the myth to continue. Keep in mind that if a site grows large, you can always upgrade or move to another host. No biggie.

10 sites on one account interlinking - No such Negative Effect

50 sites on one account interlinking - Some links devalued and some small red flags rising

100 sites on one account interlinking - Serious issue. Larger Red Flags and sites might be considered as Link Farms....

All the above are considering that your sites are related. Non-related sites may even call for more danger
