Is anyone STILL getting traffic from the Classic Search Engines? Classic Search Engines forums discussing search engines of the past. There has been a lot of search engine consolidation. Overture bought AltaVista. Yahoo bought Inktomi and Overture. Here is where we can discuss the old times in SEO.

4% of my sites' traffic are through ATW, 1% from other SEs while majority (appx 95%) are from the biggies (GYM).

I get nominal traffic from those sites. The main bread and butter is G,Y,M, AOL, Dogpile and one more that I cannot recall of the top of my head.

Some of those engines are composites of the results of other search engines with ads placed around them.

Also from using hittail I've seen that ISP start pages like home.att.net and start.verizon.net get me more traffic than altavista. I believe that google analytics classifies them based on the variable like q= search= query=? Can anyone verify that statement?
