Is altavista relevant any more?

To make the story short...
I rank in 1-5 in all my keywords at all search engine with my index page..
Altavista not like any other search engine was the only search engine who gave me bad results...
In the last update of Altavista I got finnaly very good results and I did not do any thing Infact I gave up altavista 1 year ago....

But this is not the problem just the background.

The problem: even with excelant results on Altavista I do not get any traffic from them Its amazing I recieve alot of traffic on other search engine with the same keywords ....

does anybody know who uses Altavista search engine?
meaning where do they get (country)_ most of thier visitors?

I think they've lost their marklet share drastically world wide Asher. Certainly here in Germany it's like "Alta who?"Anyone optimizing special doorways pages for altavista nowadays is wasting their time imo.

I could never get any results out of Altavista - NONE

So I gave up

and then just yesterday I went and had a look

God God

I was number 1,2,3,4,5 er.....

Well anyway there we were in all our glory

Gobsmacked is the word

Anyway went back to have another look - sneaky like!

and....

Yep it was true

Maybe someone in Altavista finally woke up that if a site is no 1 on every other SE it should be theirs also - or near to
