Inktomi not properly indexing my site

I added my domain, worldwidpaternity.com to Inktomi (through positiontech.com) on 3/7/03. I have double checked all Intomi guidlines, and my site meets all of them. I also ran it through a html validator, any it had no errors.
However, my site is last on all relevant keywords. Even on a search for my domain, "worldwidepaternity", my site ranks last.

After my site was first indexed on 3/14/03, I noticed the bad rankings, so I ran it thorugh the html validator, and noticed I needed to change a few things. After the changes, it is still last.

Am I doing something wrong?

Also, the positiontech support is worthless. They just say I must not be meeting some Inktomi guidelines, but know than I am meeting all guidelines.

did you sumbit your homepage only?

i submitted my homepage only a month ago. I do not rank in first 50 for my main phrase.

there is no way i will pay for submission into inktomi. i would rather wait till it crawls me. i have a few other sites crawled and index by inktomi and they are ranking high as in google.

Is it worth is to submit all of the pages? I think I only have about 20.


I have a few other sites that we crawled by Inktomi, without me paying. This was actually my first time paying for inclusion. The ones that were automaticly crawled do WAY better that the one I paid to have added.

Makes you wonder if it is worth it!

I have never tried paying inktomi crawl all pages. I am not that rich
