Froogle Feeds?

Duh, I just deleted my original post! Can you spell moron? c-r-i-s!

Okay, I was asking how fast froogle usually takes to update feeds.

I just heard from them and this is their answer:

Quote:
Christine,
...when you send up your feed, generally it takes a couple a days to update (This process will be quicker as Froogle gets developed more).
I hope I've answered your questions, feel free to ask more.
Thanks for participating in Froogle while it is still in Beta

No I don't Froogle, but it's kind of frustrating not being able to join in on this exciting new development.

I'll just have to find out what I can sell online .... er, my old Sisters of Mercy records, second-hand Leeds United jerseys, my collection of Graham Greene books ... nope, don't think so.

Gringo.

I've heard rumors that when they are out of Beta, they will either include services or start a business service version.

Does anyone have any idea if there are any plans to expand froogle to include UK sites? After reading about generating the feeds I would love to try it out.

I think the problem that lies there is the whole multi currency thing. They are using the USA sites only (US Dollar) as a beta, then from what I hear they will expand to include Euros & UK £.

I am getting mush faster responses to my questions to Froogle, I hope this is a sign that they are nearing the end of beta.

My last question to Froogle concerned a pitch in their feed instructions that one could submit a feed daily but was this realistic at this stage of beta?

their response:

Quote:
Christine,
At this point, weekly should be just fine. We don't have an exact
timeframe as to when we will be out of beta, it is an ongoing development.
Thanks for the comments,
The Google Team

it may be a bit close to guess on the end of beta, I will be checking on how fast a feed is updated to see a trend. Yes they state that they do plan to include the UK and Euro when the beta is over.
