Cant remember the last time Classic Search Engines forums discussing search engines of the past. There has been a lot of search engine consolidation. Overture bought AltaVista. Yahoo bought Inktomi and Overture. Here is where we can discuss the old times in SEO.

Yeah, it's amazing how such a great search engine can get out of date.

Does anyone think Overture will be able to turn them around after they buy them out?
