Brainfox.com - Cheap but hardly any traffic
I recently decided as an experiment, to take a test drive of Brainfox.com Pay Per Click advertising program to see if would be a good choice to consider advertising with.
So far I am only neutral. I made a deposit of $10 with them, and they match it with another $10 bucks. Which is a very nice incentive! Yet, in about 1 week time, I have yet to spend $10 of that amount. Traffic is very low, and I average maybe 20 clicks a day for about 30 different keywords. Most of the clicks come from broad keywords and selective high traffic keywords. They recommend using over 100-200 keywords, but I don't have the time to search through tons of keyword activity reports. So if you would like to advertise with Brainfox.com. Go for it, because it is inexpensive, customer service is friendly and very fast, you can pay with paypal, broader advertising is possible. But if you are looking for something highly targeted with lots of traffic, forget it, cause I don't see it happening there. Also finding the right keywords for your campaign can be lengthy and time consuming. Just some thoughts on my experience with that PPC. Ben This PPC is also for sale, so anyone with a spare half million, it could be yours.

Ive never heard of BrainFox. Are they just their own search engine, or do they power other engines? Im curious about this. The 10 for 10 match is pretty nice too!

Josh,
Well I think Brainfox, powers there listings through a large network of sites, and then of course some through there site. Yet, like some smaller PPC engines, the networks these engines use pull board visitors to your site. I have been seeing alot of MLM based visitors from this site for marketing keywords. Which actually I have found are very eager buyers, but the down fall is (this is my opinion only) is that they are uneducated about how to promote there websites or programs. Very soft leads. Unlike FindWhat or Overture where the UV are more informed and highly targeted for what you are promoting. You might check into it. Brainfox.com Good luck with it! Ben |

BrainFox
Hey guys
I'm using Brainfox right now and have been for about a month. I agree it is cheap but the clicks are pretty few and far between. They are nice and responsive too... but I think I'll be cutting them off when my funds run out w/them. I started out w/ Kanoodle and ended up paying about $300 in false clicks over about a month, which they admitted to, but did not refund or credit me, then it was down to trying Brainfox and GoClick. I'm glad I didn't go Brainfox 1st or I'd have been done paying to play especially after my kanoodle incident, but I gave Goclick a shot and it has been absolutely phenominal! Dependant on the keywords you're after it's either great or practically non-existant targeted traffic-wise... Some clients I've referred there have seen little to no traffic on some of the words they're seeking, but I have beyond normal results with other market keywords - I could not be happier! I do notice a few bad clicks here and there but nothing to fuss about. They also kick back some credit from time to time to comp for the few bad clicks you'll get with about all PPCs. They do provide their results to some other PPCs which works out well. GoClick is an awesome affordable PPC alternative to Overture. Best, john |
