i never heard of an alltheweb dance and i cant find any information in its technology more than what is at http://www.alltheweb.com/info/about/

Apparently ATW updates 20-30% of it's database every 7 days, with a certain percentage of high interest sites updated daily - no waiting for the shuffling of different data centres, just relevant up-to-date results. Take note Google! ;)

I'll be honest and say that I've not focussed that much on the ATW updates, given that there are no alternate servers to watch i.e. www2.alltheweb.com does not exist.

Not that I know anything, but I was under the impression that alltheweb is on a 48 hr refresh from the FAST inclusion. Paid inclusion is the only way to ensure actual inclusion and if your internal linking structure is sound you should have the majority or your pages indexed regularly. Just my 2 cents
