Alexa Tool Bar
Does any one here knows how accurate this tool is?
My site is ranking at 80,000
But i know that some site get more hits than me but ranking lower than me....
Most of my visitor comes from US so are thiers....

They main flaw in the Alexa Rank is that not all people use their toolbar.

If 100% of your visitors used the toolbar, then if another site have 2 times your amount of visitors, yet only 50% of their visitors used the toolbar, then you would both have the same AlexaRank (approx).

The chances are even... our audiance is the same
we both target for the same age range demogrphic location and social status...
so what are tha chaces that out of lets say 100,000 people ill get 75,000 and will get 25,000???

I'm sorry your figures confused me in the last post, 85,000 + 25,000 = 110,000.

Are you asking what % of people use the toolbar.. I'm not sure - anyone know?

Hi I believe that not only Alexa Toolbar gathering data for statistic on web site... I saw many times post about some spyware built-in IE, here is one article which tells how Alexa can collect data from Related Links feature http://www.imilly.com/alexa.htm actually I don't mind if they collect info this way especially if it will grant to my site more popularity with Alexa ;)
