A word from PositionTech themselves..

I just spoke to a PT rep for about 45 minutes and gave me the skinny on INK....Some stuff we all know and some very interesting....

Title tag important...so are Meta tags...use keyword phrases in that describe your site.

H1 tag important as well as bolding major keyword phrases...

Body write as normal text with keyword phrases in there..and of course no keyword, keyword keyword...

This I found sort of interesting...opt your site and wait about 3-4 days if no movement re opt until you hit with rankings, if you are ranked on the last page or so you may have some sort of penalty they implemented (the algo does this) and if you are not in directory you were banned.

INK does not like cross linking with your own sites...Big tiime NO NO.

You can have several site in INK as long as content is all unique , try to key on different phrases and nothing points to other pages (cross link).

Hope this helps

I dont understand getting penalized for cross linking. Then every site that has a footer or menu bar that has simular if not the same links on every page would be penalized. Having a good cross linking structure is important to good site navigation. I am not saying your wrong, I just think that penalizing sites that cross link is self defeating. I thought link popularity was an important factor as well? How do you have good link popularity with out cross linking with other sites?

Cross linking meaning this...you have 6 domains and all 6 of those domains all link to each other....Like if all sites were widget sites and the widget sites cross links all have some info

OK, your speaking of doorway pages or spam. Cross linking in itself is not a reason for being penalized, but cross linking with URLs for no other purpose than to increase link popularity is a valid reason. Many sites have a valid reason for cross linking and I dont see them being penalized.

Would you happen to know how to keep the <H1> tag from adding a blank line underneath it's text. By using css I can change the size, but it's use in tables adds an annoying amount of space beneath headers that looks bad.
