Wowd - new real time search engine

On October 20th, "Wowd.com"new start up real time search engine start...
It's p2p based technology, app. installing on your browser, so making index in "distributed cloud" of all users. No servers, no centralized data storage...all indexed pages exist in numerous users machines.
Using Wowd month ago I'm very satisfied...work fine and fast, without bugs, memory or network resource threats, and real time indexing surely work.
Growth of indexed pages is linked only with growth of users.

I think p2p tech and distributed data in real time search could be respective future regarding unlimited index and specially regarding privacy protecting.
Have anybody experiences about Wowd, and what forum community think about?

I think it's a load of crap. A search engine that can't afford the storage space wants to slow down my computer in order to show other people results? Count me out.

That's taking invasion of privacy a step further than Google.

No one you mention in my case...MAC+FF work fast, network resource in range with Skype. Privacy? Isn't enough that your surfing footprints aren't placed on any centralized server or data centar?

I just tried some test searches. Utter and complete crap.
Looks like using 'swarm' crawling vs. an actual spider and algorithm has some serious issues.
For example 'Legos' does not turn up lego.com Google of course does (presumably yahoo and bing too but I avoid them when possible).

I seriously doubt Wowd.com is going much of anywhere.

"What makes Wowd a realtime search engine is that ranks sites based on how often and recently the Wowd community has visited that site. On Wowd, you vote with your mouse, so to speak.

The search engine uses other more traditional ranking algorithms as well, but its main point of differentiation is the realtime clickstream data..."
from an article about Wowed

Which misses the point of Google keeping their algorithm secret and updating it regularly. This looks like if it ever gained mass it would be WAY too easy to spam. And in order to prevent the spamming they would have to remove their "main point of differentiation".
