A simple question, you have at the right top of this post :
Del.icio.us / Google/ furl / dig al those links, is it a plugin you need to install before it works, or just a code you have to paste?

So I want to know how it works, it is for a Blog with wordpress.
Is there a plugin for wordpress maybe that automaticly creates those things?

Thank you

Try addthis.com

They have a code that you can paste on your site to automatically let the readers bookmark it on their digg, del.icio.us, etc.

Here is an excellent tool that can produce code for either static or blog pages to enable your readers to add you to over 50 different social book marking sites.

wordpress does have that in its plugin section, already built in.

all you have to do is select which bookmarking sites you would like to display for people on the page.

as for the other CMS's, there are tons of plug ins that you can download in order to get the job done as well.

del.icio.us/

I just registered for del.icio.us to step up to the challenge GaryTheScubaGuy presented to seeing if I will see a difference in my PR in a week.

I'm new to this whole SEO thing too. I don't quite understand social bookmarking.

1. How does book marking your site increase you page rankings?

2. My webpage doesn't have a way to post the code in because it's a replicated page from my company. Does that matter if it's not posted on their to boost your PR?

Thanks.

Use the plugin for firefox, is very easy.
You just click the "Tag" button and insert some differet tags for your site.

I did that some days ago and now i have a link in del.icio.us .

GoodLuck!
