Search Engine with Explicit Relevancy Feedback
I have created an experimental search engine to evaluate the useful of explicit relevancy feedback. Due to resource constraints (it is running on my desktop), the index isn't very big (1.5m pages), but it is concentrated enough on a single topic that it is still interesting, and useful if I do say so myself. The topic is home electronics, but I have no particular affinity for that subject, it is just something I thought would be interesting.
scamper.ath.cx:8080/ [As a new member, I am not allowed to insert links, so please prepend http://] It works best by doing a very general search and then using the relevancy feedback to hone in on what you want. I am curious as to what other think. Thanks. Dan |

That is just an internal tag that identifies the page, I should have removed it from the code. I will add it to the todo list. Enhancing snapshots (cached page view): how so? Any success using the feedback? Thanks for taking a look. Dan |
