Scams you need to be aware of

Not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this but i want everyone to be aware of the scammers out there who claim to send traffic to your website for the fraction of PPC cost. I bought 2500 click from revistors .com and guess what, all the clicks were script generated. All the click came 1 second apart. The visitors (or as i should say script generated clicks) came to my home page and didn't go to other pages. The total time spent by these visitors/clicks were 0 seconds and the clicks came from the same php page. All these led me to believe that these guys are running a script to generate fake visitors.

Thanks for mentioning this mig35! That's a form of click fraud I hadn't heard of before; sadly I can't say I'm surprised by it. With the research I've done it seems like the folks who are trying to abuse search engine advertising keep getting more creative.

IMHO, any "purchased traffic" is nothing short of a rip off...Just keep building and optimizing your site, and real, natural traffic, with "live" visitors (aka people) will come!
