MegaGlobe.com - The next big thing?
I have been reading about Megaglobe, which apparently have the ability to take the search engine world by storm.
Megaglobe is the latest international search engine to hit the net officially in August 2006. What do you think about the idea, and do you think they can become successful, and challenge the larger search engines one day?
They are currently investing alot of money into advertising, and have had many press releases. I have got a few links showing some press articles about megaglobe.com below,
What do you think? It seems to me as though they are a very professional approach, and they are willing to spend money on promoting the site. I think it could be successful in the long run, but not without effort and commitment.

A lot of people do not know that we will have sponsor listings that detects and
eradicates click fraud, they also need to know that
we are going to give a high commission to webmasters from the Megaglobe Ads program and
finally they need to know that a concept like Megaglobe is new, we will be the only
search engine representing the whole world.
Even though Google is the biggest search engine right now, they do not represent every
country, they have around 140 Googles, Megaglobe has 304.
Thats the latest statement they have issued about Megaglobe.

I took a quick look. Funny that they don't have a bot indexing the web. Are all sites that are to be indexed added manually? That is a bummer because it will take approximately 4,000 years for all the webmasters to submit their sites. I don't know if even Google will be around then.
I have to compliment you for doing so much research to find them and then ALL of their press releases.
Then you went through all the trouble of registering here at SEO Chat AND, with your very first post, gave us the wonderful news. Thank you!
Some people might think you are just spamming our forum, but I don't.

Thanks for the news, but from my point of view this is not new, i dont think google adwords team havent think about the "ppc frauds" i dont think a new company can compare to google, maybe his add system can work without fraud which is very difficult for a brand new company. But the problem is that his search engine results will not be compare to google´s big *** algo which displays the best results in the market.
Maybe they can compite in adverstisment but people go in google for the solid and target results not for his advertisment.

What do you think to that? To me, it certainly seems as though they are in it for the long run, and all these press releases are starting to make me believe they could make it big time in the search engine business?
(And SEO_AM, I am in no way involved with Megaglobe.)
