JetEye/Jet Bot??

I have received about 50,000 hits from Jet Bot this month, I emailed them and they said they are opening a new search engine this year.

Anyone know anything about them? Jeteye.com is the search engine and my logs just show Jet Bot/1.0

They seem to come in bursts. Anyway, their promise about opening a new SE dates from quite a while back. I wonder if they'll ever go live. (And if/when they will, do we really care???) Disallow them if they bug you. They have your urls by now, what more do they need?
