Question I submit my website in 150 small search engines and no result!

I found a list of small search engines on www.exactseek.com and in couple hours i submitted my website www.ManhattanService.com on all of them. In 2 weeks i got only 1 visitor from this websites.
So, question is, is it mean that when i pay money for the same submission ( Something like "SUBMIT YOUR WEBSITE IN 500 SEARCH ENGINES only for $50") i will get the same result?

Fisrt of all NEVER pay. There are too many free tools out there to do it for you (webceo, or ever seo chats main page).

Most of those "submit to 5 gazillion seqarch engines for 12 cents", are submitting you to FFa or free for all sites, which will eventually hurt more than it will ever help.

You should not waste your time or money submiting to any search engines. Spend your time building backlinks. With backlinks, all the important search engines will come to you.

No D

Hi snipergrunge,

Think in Google, Yahoo, MSN and Dmoz.org.

Small “Search Engine” generally wants your e-mail to send you information, etc, etc, etc.

Become a TT (Top Ten) on Google, Yahoo or Msn take time.

1- Write, write and write content.
2- Make link exchange with relevant sites of you niche. (High PR)
3- Search Manhattan on Google, MSN or Yahoo and then write a cordial e-mail to the webmaster to exchange a link, remember add your name, last name, and phone number, etc, you are not a spammer! Maybe you could call them.
4- "Fight" maybe there is a lot of competitors with the word "Manhattan Services", use the tool of overture to fight with another keywords.

If you want, after you WRITE content, maybe you could add (buy) a link in a PR 6 or 7 website. It will help you a lot!!!!!!! (I found http://www.textlinkbrokers.com/) I never use it, but maybe you could try it.

Conclusion
1- No buy Submit Search
2- No buy traffic like “WE CAN SEND YOU 10.000 visit to your site”

Best regads,
Willy

Yep, I am totally agree with SEO_AM. Don't submit your site in all search engines, just submit it in main search engines. Submit your site in directories. Directory submission helps alot. When you submit your site in directories, search engines automatically find you & list you.

absolutely... if you get only 2 relevant links per day, it comes out to be almost 60 links for a month... much better than those thousands of spammy websites/link farms or FFA pages...

Well I hate to sound odd but it is possible that if your website was designed quite badly, then even if it was listed with a few million search engines then it still may not get visitors from the engines.
So we should all be aware that we need to keep an eye on our websites and how they are designed..
That is why folks try to learn about the way that search engines work and score websites..

I would have to agree that it is best to build as many backlinks as possible. 3 way linking can be a excellent way to do but watch how you build your back links if your going to do 3 way linking..

I would only submit to the major search engines and look for good directories w/ good content to list your site. ;)

Actually, Most of the small S.E. requies email confirmation or verification of submission link otherwise it's not index your site.

I think you need to submit your site in major Dir. & SE whose PR is 3 or more than 3. You can't expect a result instantly, alternatively you can take the help of Google Analytics to track your visitors.

Viral.

Most of the search engine follow google, if you have submitted your site in Google/MSN/Yahoo, I think that would be enough.

snipergroups,
i agree with the above. Stick to submitting to directories and such the search engines will come later. forget the submitting to engines. They will come in due time. Remember the best seo practice is patience.
